ESCVDO was born from sisters Chiara and Giuliana Macchiavello’s deep-seated passion for Peru, its cultural traditions, and its vast natural wealth.
After concluding their studies in London, the sisters returned to their native Lima, and have since dedicated themselves to formalizing and expanding their love of local traditions and fashion.
They continue to work as a team on all collections out of their Barranco studio.
The production and administrative team is based out of ESCVDO’s Lima headquarters. With a small team of knitters, hand-weavers, and embroidery specialists, the sisters develop new collections when inspiration strikes.

The organic Pima cotton comes from the coastal region of Pisco, Peru, and adheres to the highest fair-trade standards.
The specific cotton strain used provides the longest fibres available, yielding an exceptionally soft product. No animals are harmed in the production process.
All sourced fibres are brought to the headquarters in Barranco, Lima, where they are transformed by an in-house knitting team.
Each garment is hand stitched and all finishing touches and embellishments are made by hand.
